Development of Civil Society

The Civil Society Development program at Education, Development and Employment Center is wide-ranging and multi-directional, with various types and scales of projects being implemented. All of them contribute to strengthening civil society in Georgia, civil education, freedom of each community member and increasing the level of civic independence, sociatal equality and civic awareness.

The initiatives which are being served by the program are common issues and require citizens groups to mobilize involvement in the decision-making process, accountability of state institutions, vulnerabilities and protecting the interest of individuals with special needs.

The allocation of responsibilities between citizens and government is an open dialogue and collaborative.
