Education

EDECs diverse educational programs provide the much needed non-formal training for the current labor market as well as raising the awareness of the population. Educational courses offered by KEDEC, are based on the needs of various segments (individuals as well as organizations) and include topics like general management, public relations, marketing, human resource development, office and financial management, taxation, accounting, computer software, and foreign languages. During 2015, 171 individuals graduated from various courses.

KEDEC created an effective methodology for studying community and the labor market, which focused on the identification needs and the elimination of educational dead-ends. As a result, several new programs have been developed including communication, service provision, hotel administration, and photography.

During 2015 KEDEC worked closely with businesses and non-government organizations. It changed its strategy for working with clients, and improved outreach mechanisms while offering educational services to target organizations. Informational material and teaching methodologies were revised and professional mentors were included in the educational process.

KEDEC is proud to have assisted a number of people with internships and employment opportunities. During 2015, 92 job seekers, with relevant skills and experience, were employed by a variety of companies.
