Nino Gvagvalia joined the Education Development and Employment Center in 2019. She has been a career guidance specialist in Samegrelo and made significant contribution in achieving the project goals within the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment, and Participation in Conflict-Affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”. At present she is in charge of organizing the therapy services at EDEC.
Nino worked as researcher and analyst within George Washington University’s program “Displaced or at Home?” on homelessness and related problems. At the association Atinati, she gathered experience as administrator of the employment program and as assistant of a business trainer. Moreover, she was involved in USAID’s Zrda Activity and the National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) Internship Program.
Nino received her academic education at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi, majoring in Business Administration. She participated in numerous training and educational programs to improve her professional skills and is very interested in data processing, advocacy, and public relations.
