In the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia”, the second phase of a 21-day online training course for peer educators was held. The course included a 4-day online training about “Tolerance, Peacebuilding, Diversity”.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The training was conducted by the guest trainers Eliko Bendeliani and Nini Kobakhidze.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0As a result of the training, the participants:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  • understand the essence of the conflict, its phases, dynamics, and management methods. As a result, they will be able to analyze the context of the conflict;<\/li>\n
  • gained knowledge and information on issues of diversity and tolerance; about peacebuilding, community peacebuilding, and a culture of peace; about the ongoing peacebuilding processes, efforts, and youth projects in the country; about identity, stereotypes, discrimination, acceptance, and engagement;<\/li>\n
  • realize the importance of tolerance and non-violent conflict resolution and have gained practical knowledge and skills in initiating and implementing community peacebuilding ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
