{"id":20059,"date":"2022-11-10T17:24:59","date_gmt":"2022-11-10T13:24:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edec.ge\/a-job-fair-organized-in-kutaisi-with-the-european-union-support\/"},"modified":"2022-11-10T18:11:54","modified_gmt":"2022-11-10T14:11:54","slug":"a-job-fair-organized-in-kutaisi-with-the-european-union-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edec.ge\/en\/a-job-fair-organized-in-kutaisi-with-the-european-union-support\/","title":{"rendered":"A  Job Fair Organized in Kutaisi with the European Union Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">On November 10, with the support of the European Union, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), in partnership with the State Employment Support Agency (SESA) held a Job Fair in Kutaisi. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">\u00a0The event was attended by representatives of the European Union, the State Employment Support Agency, vocational schools, public organizations, local governments, employers and job seekers, local businesses, and other stakeholders. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">The goal of the Job Fair is to promote the employment of young people, IDPs, those with no work experience, the long-term unemployed, and vulnerable groups of society. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">\u00a0At the Job Fair, more than 40 small, medium and large companies presented up to 160 vacancies for employment and internships in the fields of construction, banking, services, restaurants, industry, healthcare, and education. More than 300 job seekers had the opportunity to meet a potential employer, interview about the desired vacancy, and demonstrate their skills through direct communication. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">\u00a0Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board, Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC); Nino KochishviliProgramme Officer, EU Delegation to Georgia; Nino Veltauri, Director, State Employment Support Agency (SESA) Ioseb Khakhaleishvili \u2013 Mayor of Kutaisi Municipality addressed the audience. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-0-0\">\u00a0The Job Fair was organized within the framework of the EU-funded <\/span><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-1-0\">project<\/span><span data-offset-key=\"5ufu8-2-0\"> &#8220;Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment!
