The project “Youth Today” has emerged victorious in the grant competition for civic initiatives among young people, which is being implemented by the organization “Youth for Public Interests”.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAfter several years of extensive research and observation within the non-governmental and private sectors, it has become evident that young people face numerous challenges. Of particular note are the obstacles prevalent in the modern labor market, such as a lack of awareness and competencies among the youth, ineffective communication between job seekers and private sector employers, and an unsatisfactory staff selection process.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To address these issues and promote problem-solving in the region, we have decided to establish an intermediary platform \u201cBatumi Business Networking\u201d that will provide professional support to young individuals seeking employment while connecting them with businesses. Through the network, local business entities and companies will present their activities and introduce network members to employment opportunities in their companies. Young people will always have access to news and announced vacancies. Also, through workshops and consultations, we will strengthen 30 young people, as a result of which they will have a chance for real employment. Thanks to the project, important steps have already been taken, and we plan to do more in this direction in the future.”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The initiative was implemented with the support of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), in the framework of the project \u201cCivil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia\u201c(2021-2025). The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The project is implemented by the Consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and composed of the following CSOs: Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), Civil Society Institute (CSI), Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), and Institute for European Politics (IEP).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
