An information meeting was held on April 17, 2024, with the students of College \u201cGantiadi\u201d as part of the project \u201cIntroduction of Social Entrepreneurship as a Key to Competitive Youth and Strengthened Vocational Schools in Georgia\u201d. The meeting aimed to familiarize the participants with the project goals and activities planned, as well as to provide information about social entrepreneurship. As part of the project, students interested in social entrepreneurship from the pilot vocational school will participate in a social entrepreneurship course. Upon completing the course, they will participate in a student social enterprise grant competition.<\/p>\n
Representatives of Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany) also presented at the meeting. They met the college representatives, visited the college territory, and the existing infrastructure, and learned about the activities of the vocational school.<\/p>\n
The project, \u201cStrengthening Social Entrepreneurship Skills in Vocational Schools,\u201d is being implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center, Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany), in partnership and with the support of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project\u2019s activities will be carried out in four vocational schools in the Imereti and Shida Kartli regions, namely Iberia College, Construct2 Construction College, Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center, and Gantiadi College.<\/p>\n
A total of 10 social enterprises will be financed within the framework of the project, the project will support the development of the established enterprise with the involvement of mentors and experts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
