On December 26, 2017, the annual event of the Kutaisi Daycare<\/gwmw> Center for Children with Disabilities was held at TBC Gallery. <\/p>\n

Throughout the event presents gathered through charity campaign “Child to Child” were handed over to the beneficiaries of the daycare<\/gwmw> center. <\/p>\n

The charity campaign “Child to Child” was initiated by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) with the goal of fulfilling New Year wishes for 28 beneficiaries of the Kutaisi Daycare Center. Several other organizations and individuals joined the campaign later. <\/p>\n

Giorgi Chighvaria, the newly elected Mayor of the Kutaisi Municipality, joined the campaign. Thanks to his initiative also the Kutaisi City Hall bought gifts for all the beneficiaries of the daycare<\/gwmw> center.<\/p>\n

The editor of the online newspaper \u201cP.S. News” Nato<\/gwmw> Gubeladze, as well as the representatives of the three participating wine-producing companies Teliani Valley, Kindzmarauli and Telavi Wine Cellar donated a variety of books. <\/p>\n

Natia<\/gwmw> Namicheishvili, Program Director of the Education Development and Employment Center, presented the work and events of the Kutaisi Daycare Center and underlined their importance and impact.<\/p>\n

Giorgi Iobashvili, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi Municipality, delivered the speech during the event and promised to be actively involved in similar future activities.<\/p>\n

The teachers of the daycare<\/gwmw> center were awarded monetary prizes and letters of appreciation. Their contribution to the development of the daycare center and their provision of  qualified educational services to the beneficiaries were praised and highlighted.<\/p>\n

The event was organized within the framework of the Daycare Centers Program which<\/gwmw> aims to protect the rights of children with disabilities and to support their full integration into society. It is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) with support from the Social Service Agency of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour<\/gwmw>, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.<\/p>\n
