The<br \/>\nmeeting was organized by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board of the Education<br \/>\nDevelopment and Employment Center (EDEC), and Giorgi Arsenidze, representative<br \/>\nof ASB Georgia and manager of the EU-funded project \u201cEqual Opportunities for<br \/>\nPeople with Disabilities&#8221; held speeches on the project and presented the discussion<br \/>\ntopic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Giga Sopromadze, Executive Secretary of the<br \/>\nCouncil working on People with Disabilities in Tbilisi City Hall talked about<br \/>\nthe supportive services implemented by them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Gia Kakachia, Director of the organization<br \/>\n&#8220;Partnership for Social Welfare,&#8221; introduced their methodology to<br \/>\ndevelop needs-based services. He also analyzed local and international<br \/>\npractices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Nino Skhulukhia, Head of Social and Health<br \/>\nCare Service of Zugdidi City Hall presented supportive programs for people<br \/>\nwith disabilities envisaged in the budget of Zugdidi City Hall for 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Mayzer Nanava, the Acting Mayor of Zugdidi,<br \/>\nand Mamuka Tsotseria, Chairman of Zugdidi City Assembly, expressed their<br \/>\ncommitment towards the issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Members of the council working on matters<br \/>\nrelated to people with disabilities in Zugdidi, as well as representatives of the<br \/>\nlocal government and NGOs attended the meeting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The discussion was organized as part of the EU-funded<br \/>\nproject \u201cEqual Opportunities for People with Disabilities.\u201d It is implemented<br \/>\nby Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia) in cooperation with its<br \/>\npartner organizations, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC)<br \/>\nand Accessible Environment for Everyone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o_p><\/o_p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On February 8th, the round table event \u201cNeeds-based supportive services for People with Disabilities\u201d was organized in Zugdidi.
