The event was organized by<br \/>\nthe Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board of the<br \/>\nEducation Development and Employment Center (EDEC) presented the project and<br \/>\ndiscussion topics.<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">As part of the round table Tamar<br \/>\nKhachapuridze, the local representative of people with disabilities, talked about<br \/>\nthe infrastructural barriers they face. Sophio Kupatadze, coordinator of the<br \/>\ndaycare centers for people with disabilities at the Education Development and<br \/>\nEmployment Center (EDEC) explained the importance of need-based budgets for<br \/>\npeople with disabilities.<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The discussion was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project \u201cEqual Opportunities for People with<br \/>\nDisabilities.\u201d It is implemented by Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia)<br \/>\nin cooperation with its partner organizations, the Education Development and<br \/>\nEmployment Center (EDEC) and Accessible Environment for Everyone.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;font-family:&quot;BPG LE Studio 04&quot;,serif;letter-spacing:\n.25pt;mso-ansi-language:EN-US\"><o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 11th, the round table meeting \u201eIntegration of persons with disabilities\u201c was held in Kutaisi.
