On April 11th, 40 pupils from the Imereti
\nregion visited the Cadets Military Lyceum within the framework of the Civic
\nEducation Program “Future Generation”.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit, pupils got familiar with the
\nadmission requirements, the leaving and learning conditions of the Lyceum, as
\nwell as its infrastructure. They were able to ask all their questions and received
\ndetailed answers and additional information. <\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

On the same day, the participants visited the
\nregional State Representative Governor’s Administration, where they met Zviad
\nShalamberidze, First Deputy of the State Representative in Imereti. After an initial presentation about the institution\u2019s work, the meeting ended with the
\nchildren\u2019s questions.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The third destination of the day was the Public
\nDefender’s Office. Here, they learned about the Office\u2019s cooperation with the central
\nand local government, how to find potential funds, and how to plan new collaborations.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The program “Future Generation”
\naims to improve the curriculum of civic education in schools. It also
\nencourages pupils to apply their theoretical education. It is supported by the
\nMinistry of Education and Science of Georgia and financed by the United States
\nAgency for International Development (USAID). In the Imereti region, the initiative
\nis implemented by PH International in partnership with the Education
