On the 25th of May, outstanding civic education
\nteachers got awarded as part of the eighth Forum of Civic Education. The event,
\nwhich took place at the Tbilisi Exhibition Pavilion of ExpoGeorgia, also included
\na national exhibition and a conference related to civic education.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Irina Abuladze, Deputy Minister of
\nEducation, Science, Culture, and Sport, along with Adam Schmidt, Director of
\nthe Democracy, Governance and Social Development office of USAID, National
\nCenter of Teacher’s Development and PH international, was in charge of the
\naward ceremony.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Maka Kachkachishvili, working at Siktarva Village
\nSchool in the Terjola Municipality and at school \u201cProgresi\u201d in Kutaisi, was
\nannounced as the best teacher in Imereti. Zviad Nikabadze, a civic education
\nteacher from Ilemi in the Zestaponi Municipality, became the best patron of civil
\nclub. The title \u201cMost Successful Teacher of the Year\u201d was awarded to Nana
\nMargania from Vartsikhe in the Baghdati Municipality.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The event was held in the framework of the
\nprogram \u201cFuture Generation,\u201d which is supported by the Ministry of Education
\nand Science of Georgia and financed by the United States Agency for
\nInternational Development (USAID). In the Imereti region, the initiative is
\nimplemented by PH International in partnership with the Education Development
