The Entrepreneurial School in Gori has
\nfinished. Within one month, 22 youth representatives from the Shida Kartli
\nregion were able to strengthen their skills for successful entrepreneurial
\nactivities. They were all awarded certificates.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The curriculum covered Business Management
\nand Planning, Marketing, Fundraising, Financial Management, and legal issues
\nrelated to Business Administration. Students also received individual,
\nneeds-based consultations and mentorship to improve their business ideas.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the program, they also visited the
\nfarmer’s house “Agrokartli”, Gori\u2019s canning factory “Kula”,
\nthe poultry factory “Dzeveri” and the milk-producing company “Nebiera.”
\nThere, the students got familiar with differing production processes and used
\ntheir chance to ask questions about their issues of interest, in particularly
\nsales, export, and employment opportunities.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

The Entrepreneurial School is part of the EU-funded
\nproject \u201cEU4Youth \u2013 Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in
\nConflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The initiative aims to
\nwiden education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally
\ndisplaced persons and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant
\nparticipation in the community. In Georgia, it is implemented by the Danish
\nRefugee Council (DRC) and the Education Development and Employment Center
