Organized by the local hub partner Association
\nAtinati, the Regional Civil Society Forum for Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti was held
\non July 11 at the Zugdidi Tech. The aim was to present the activities of local CSOs
\nand to promote volunteerism.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Up to twenty local CSOs and participated in
\nthe forum. During the event, guests were provided with the opportunity to
\nbecome familiar with the activities local CSOs are involved in. They also were
\nable to choose the activity considering their interests and skills and
\nvoluntarily participate in it.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the event, guests had the chance
\nto get to know the bilateral volunteerism platform \u201cTime Bank” as well as
\nup to twenty local CSOs. Next to the general presentation of the platform, the
\nTimeBank tent also attracted people with small giveaways and a challenging quiz
\nrelated to the culture of volunteering in Georgia.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

Another quiz related to CSOs took place as
\nwell, and the winners were awarded great prizes.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n

The forum was organized in the frame of the
\nproject \u201dGeorgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative.\u201d It was developed
\nand is implemented by a consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in
\ncooperation with four Georgian Civil Society Organizations: the Civil Society
\nInstitute (CSI), the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), the Center for
\nStrategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) and the Education
\nDevelopment and Employment Center (EDEC). The initiative is funded by the European
\nUnion and co-funded by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
