{"id":9758,"date":"2019-09-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-18T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edec.ge\/entrepreneurship-school-program-presented-in-poti-and-senaki-kick-off-of-the-second-cohort\/"},"modified":"2020-07-16T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-07-15T20:00:00","slug":"entrepreneurship-school-program-presented-in-poti-and-senaki-kick-off-of-the-second-cohort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edec.ge\/en\/entrepreneurship-school-program-presented-in-poti-and-senaki-kick-off-of-the-second-cohort\/","title":{"rendered":"Entrepreneurship School program presented in Poti and Senaki \u2013 Kick-off of the second cohort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">At two meetings, in Poti and Senaki, conflict-affected<br \/>\nyouth and refugees, motivated to get involved in entrepreneurial activities and<br \/>\ndevelop their business ideas, had the unique opportunity to learn more about<br \/>\nEDEC\u2019s new Entrepreneurship Schools; representatives of the Senaki Community<br \/>\nEducation Center and officials from the Poti Self-Government attended the<br \/>\nevents as well.<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The Entrepreneurship Schools in Zugdidi and<br \/>\nGori \u2013 the first cohort already finished successfully in June \u2013 are implemented<br \/>\nas part of the project \u201cEU4Youth \u2013 Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and<br \/>\nParticipation in Conflict-Affected Regions in Georgia and Ukraine\u201d. They aim to<br \/>\nensure opportunities for 80 young people to widen their knowledge and acquire<br \/>\nentrepreneurial skills. The participants will be provided with needs-based<br \/>\nconsultations, personal mentors, and constant coaching to develop their own business<br \/>\nideas.<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Internally displaced or conflict-affected<br \/>\nyouth aged 15 to 35 years, living in Samegrelo, and Shida Kartli is eligible to<br \/>\nparticipate in the Entrepreneurship School. All of the beneficiaries\u2019 organizational<br \/>\ncosts will be fully covered by the Education Development and Employment Center<br \/>\nwith the financial support of the European Union and the Danish Refugee Council.
