Objective: To protect the rights of children with disabilities and support their full integration into society.

Target group(s): Children with disabilities, society in general, local government, media outlets, private sector.

Beneficiaries: Children with disabilities (age 6 to 18) and their family members

General activities:

  1. Elaboration and implementation of individual rehabilitation/ habilitation plans;
  2. Providing beneficiaries with supportive tools such as specially adopted furniture that allows children with disabilities to use their skills and abilities better;
  3. Considering individual skills of beneficiaries and respective design of integrated activities and events such as study visits, sports competitions, excursions, and cognitive activities;
  4. Integrated activities like drawing, singing, and physical training;
  5. Offering therapy, work, profession-related and social activities that support beneficiaries’ full integration in our society;
  6. Development of professional and vocational skills;
  7. Teaching time management skills, effective communication, decision-making, active participation in debates and conflict resolution;
  8. Using interdisciplinary approaches with parents and/or guardians to develop skills essential for their children’s development;
  9. Raising awareness of and preparing children with disabilities and their parents for inclusive education.
