EDEC held the presentation of the EU-funded project “LEARN for Employment!” with the representatives of Kutaisi City Hall

The Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) held the presentation of the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)” with the representatives of Kutaisi City Hall today.
The new employment enhancement project was presented by Lika Kiladze, the Chairperson of the Board of EDEC. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Kutaisi Mayor, City Hall, and the Administration of State Representative in Imereti Region.
The project’s goals and future cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
36-month project implemented in six regions of Georgia: Imereti, Guria, Racha-Lechkhumi, Adjara, Shida Kartli, and Kakheti has two specific objectives: to contribute to continuous/life-long career guidance and to the development of employment services; to contribute to increased PPP through labor market needs assessments, demand-driven education, WBL, and apprenticeships in the maritime and tourism sectors.
The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).
