Success story – Natia Terashvili

Twenty years old Natia Terashvili is one of the successful beneficiaries who earned her dream job.

Natia joined the Dual Vocational Education Program for Makeup Artists in 2020 within the framework of the EU4Youth project. She successfully completed theoretical and practical training, passed the 3-month internship, and got employed in the beauty salon “Comfort” in Gori.

Within the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project “Expanding agency and voice and improving the socio-economic outlook for conflict-affected women during the COVID-19 crisis”, Natia received necessary makeup tools. It helped her to demonstrate her skills and successfully pass the probation period at work. Within the same project, she attended online training about small and micro business management, which will support her future plans to self-employ and run her own business.

“I was lucky to have the opportunity to participate in these projects. I have always been interested in the profession of a make-up artist and I tried to study on my own. Then I joined the training program which enabled me to master the profession and learn the important details that a makeup artist needs to know. Most of all, what I like in my job is working with eye makeup and trying color combinations. I love doing light makeup which emphasizes a woman’s natural beauty.

Natia plans to become more proficient in the beauty industry and develop herself in this direction.
