Amida Akhalaia, the peer educator from Samegrelo, held meetings with the college students and schoolchildren in the villages of the Tsalenjikha region, about the topics of diversity and tolerance and human rights and peacebuilding. The meetings were held within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia”.

Тhe project is implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.

The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
