The peer aducator Rusudan Barnovi held information meetings about domestic violence

Rusudan Barnovi, a participant of the peer educators training course from Kaspi municipality held information meetings at Akhaltsikhe Public School on the topic: Preventing the spread of COVID-19 virus in educational institutions. The meeting was attended by the graduating students. Rusudan conducted the second meeting online about human and children’s rights (domestic violence and impact of COVID-19, prevention of family violence, and non-violent response).

The meetings were held within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia” implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.

The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
