An information meeting of peers was held in Gori Municipality

Tika Khuchua, the participant of the training course for peer educators from the Shida Kartli region, held information meetings with the students of the No.2 public school of Gori, Gori American University College, and the public school of village Variani, Gori Municipality.  The meeting was dedicated to the following topics: human rights, diversity, tolerance, and stereotypes, and discrimination. Students actively participated in the discussion regarding the issues.

The meetings were held within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia” implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.

The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
