On September 10-11, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) conducted the primary diagnostic of speech disorder free of charge for 88 children in Zugdidi and Kutaisi in cooperation with the Speech Development and Correction Center “Logomedi”.
As part of the diagnosis, the speech therapists outlined the measures and plans needed to address the problem in case of speech disorder.
The consultations were supervised by Ekaterine Chavchavadze, the Head of Logomedi together with the local professionals.
The consultations were held in full compliance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Center for Disease Control & Public Health (NCDC) of Georgia.
