The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is annually observed on 3 December to promote the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities and to take action for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society and development.

The Education Development and Employment Center has implemented a number of projects to develop education and access to employment opportunities for children and persons with disabilities.

At the four daycare centers administered by the organization, 83 children and persons with disabilities living in Kutaisi, Samtredia, Terjola, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, and Tbilisi municipalities receive daycare services. Daycare centers aim to improve the living conditions of children and people with disabilities and promote their integration into society.
