To celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS) memorable and interesting meeting was held with the female scientist employees of Akaki Tsereteli University with the participation of the Kutaisi Youth Center. The visit to the university included visiting scientific auditoriums and sharing information about scientific achievements.

A visit to the legal and medical scientific laboratories aroused great interest. Visualization of practical materials and scientific models, together with theoretical information, made young people very interested.

34 young people from the Kutaisi Youth Center participated in the cognitive development activity. The visit to the laboratory auditoriums was evaluated positively and as one of the memorable activities.

The meeting was organized within the framework of the “Unity through Diversity” program, which is implemented by UNA Georgia with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The partner organization of the program is the Education Development and Employment Center.
