Project “Master of my House – “Professional Qualification” Round Table was held in Batumi

 On December 22, in Batumi, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), in partnership of Batumi Municipal Services Agency, organised a round table within the framework of the “Master of My House – Professional Qualification” project, which aims to discuss the challenges in the housing sector and their solutions.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Batumi Home Owners associations, Batumi City Hall, Batumi Municipal Services Agency and other interested representatives.
 Within the framework of the Round Table, the head of the Batumi Municipal Services Agency, Jaba Beridze, presented a website bma.batumi.gov.ge, which, in response to the challenges in the housing sector, provides services tailored to the maintenance of common property to Home owners’ associations. The platform was updated with the support of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
 At the event, the Executive Director of EDEC, Natia Namichheishvili, presented the profession of building technical management specialist. Also, a discussion on the topic: challenges in the housing sector and ways to solve them.
The project “Master of my House – Professional Qualification” is is being implemented by the Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO), Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Hanse Parliament and Charity Humanitarian Center Abkhazet (CHCA) with the financial support of Federal Foreign Office of Germany (AA).
