A workshop was for young people living in Guria

On March 24, Education Development and Employment Center organized a workshop for young people living in Guria.
“The history of women’s emancipation – the Georgian history of the struggle for rights in the field of education, work and property, self-expression, freedom from violence, civil and political participation, the role of women in the Georgian enlightenment and the political processes of the Democratic Republic of Georgia in 1918-1921 – these were the main issues of the workshop organized in Ozurgeti , which was organized by the Education Development and Employment Center for the youth living in the Guria region and the Guria regional hub. The meeting was chaired by philosopher, researcher, professor of Iv. Javakhishvili State University Lela Gaprindashvili.
The workshop was organized within the framework of the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) funded project “Civil Society STAR Initiative: Sustainable, Transparent and Accountable Civil society Organizations (CSOs) for the Development of Georgia” (2021-2025).
The project is implemented by the Consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and composed of the following CSOs: Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), Civil Society Institute (CSI), Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), and Institute for European Politics (IEP).
