On March 23, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) participated in an international teachers’ conference called “Strengthening Volunteer Culture in School Life.” Organized by the National Academy of Education and Business of Georgia.
The conference aimed to develop teachers’ professional and pedagogical research skills, share pedagogical experiences, raise the quality of teaching and learning, and promote cooperation-based teaching.
During the conference, Nata Kapatadze, the representative of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), presented a report titled “Digital Volunteerism.” She talked about the possibilities of volunteer digital and electronic learning web platforms created within the framework of the “Civil Society STAR Initiative.” The report highlighted the benefits of using these platforms in school life.

The conference was attended by the winners of the National Teacher’s Award, foreign teachers from different countries, directors of public and private schools, and successful teachers.
