The winning project from Tbilisi

“Erasmus Student Network Georgia is a youth organization dedicated to promoting active public engagement among young people through volunteering. As such, our participation in the competition was of utmost importance for our activities.” – Mariam Dangadze, ESN GEORGIA board advisor, chairman

Our project aims to provide young people living in various regions with comprehensive information about volunteer opportunities in Georgia and abroad. Our goal is not only to raise awareness but also to equip them with practical knowledge on how to access these opportunities. To achieve this, we have involved young volunteers from our organization who have years of experience in volunteering.

I have been participating in EDEC activities in Kutaisi since my school days, and I believe that this is an ideal time to increase the importance of civic activism and engage in beneficial activities for society. Therefore, we are targeting schoolchildren with our project.
Our organization represents ESN, one of the largest student-volunteer organizations in Europe, in Georgia. ESN operates in 44 countries around the world, providing various forms of assistance to both international and local students. We are actively involved in the development of the Erasmus+ program and in raising awareness about it. As such, we frequently share information about training and volunteering opportunities funded by the European Union with participants. We believe that this is crucial for the personal and career development of Georgian youth.
