On May 16, an open day was held at “Iberia” College, which brought together students from Kutaisi public schools (41, 9, 33, 29, 17) interested in various professions. There was direct communication between students interested in professions and college experts about the pros and cons of professional choices, employment and career growth opportunities, pay, and in-demand professions.
The event was organized within the framework of the project “Strengthening Social Entrepreneurship Skills in Vocational Schools,” is being implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center, Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany), in partnership and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The project’s activities will be carried out in four vocational schools in the Imereti and Shida Kartli regions, namely Iberia College, Construct2 Construction College, Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center, and Gantiadi College.
