A workshop on social entrepreneurship was organized for young people living in Imereti

From June 4th to 10th, a workshop was held for high school students in Imereti schools, including the Georgian-American school “Progress,” I public school of Geguti named after Tamar the Queen, and Kutaisi 30th, 21st, 33rd, 15th, and 17th public schools. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the planned project activities and provide information about social entrepreneurship. Participants could gain theoretical knowledge about social entrepreneurship and engage in practical activities.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project “Fostering Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Practical Career Management Skills in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia through the Innovative Social Student Companies (SSC) Approach”.

The project’s objective is to promote the participation of young people in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia, especially vulnerable young people, in democratic activities and the labor market, social cohesion, and the reduction of inequality in the Eastern Partnership countries through sustainable development.
