Kutaisi Youth Center has launched a summer  school on ecological issues named “Fans of Nature” for children.

Within the 5-day-program juveniles will be involved in entertaining and cognitive activities that aim to raise awareness on waste management. They also will develop the basic skills on the issue. Moreover, they will get information on important and interesting topics such as environmental pollution, waste generation, recycling and composting.

 The thematic school is implemented as part of the “Promoting Integration, Tolerance, and Awareness (PITA) Program”, implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Program partner is the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
