A part of the training training on “Creating and Operating Homeowners’ Associations” has come to an end

A part of the training on “Creating and Operating Homeowners’ Associations” has come to an end. This cycle of training aimed at raising awareness about the role and functions of homeowners’ associations as a self-governing body and the importance of their involvement in the process.

The heads and the representatives of homeowners’ associations registered in Kutaisi attended this training. In total, up to 100 persons participated in the process.

The trainings were organized within the project “On the Way to Reform the Housing Sector, to Raise the Capacity of Beginner Homeowners’ Associations in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.”  The project is implemented by the German non-governmental organization “Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe” (IWO) with financial assistance from the European Union. The project in Kutaisi is implemented by the Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center (KEDEC) in partnership with the Local Democracy Agency (LDA).
