Job fair for people with disabilities was held in Telavi

Job fair for people with disabilities was held at Nadikvari Terrace in Telavi. 

Within the framework of the fair, job seekers were able to meet potential employers face-to-face and show their skills and abilities.17 companies and more than 50 persons with disabilities participated in the event. 

Among the potential employers were well-known companies and local actors such as the Retail Group Georgia, the Telavi Municipality, the Gurjaani Municipality, the Kvareli Municipality, the Medical Center “Kakhetie Yonne”, as well as the Alazani Valley Hotel and Restaurant. 

The fair was organized within the framework of the project “Educate, Employ, Advocate and Legislate for Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities” (EEAL) implemented by Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center (KEDEC)* along with the Telavi Education Development and Employment Center and the Georgian Committee of the International Campaign to ban landmines “Ottawa -98” with financial assistance of the European Union.
