On April 6th, the Business School, a joint a project of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Kutaisi
University in partnership with Finca Bank started.

Pupils from high schools based in Kutaisi
will have the opportunity to learn about Business Management, Financial
Management, Marketing Management, Resource Mobilization, and legal issues
related to business activities.

The project will last a total of 3 months.
The first lecturer to meet with the pupils was Goderdzi Shanidze, Professor at
Kutaisi University and Akaki Tsereteli State University. As a surprise on the starting
day pupils also received gifts from Kutaisi University.

A total of 60 pupils were selected based on
their applications and interviews. During the course they will receive
theoretical knowledge and gather practical experiences; they will also meet
with representatives of successful businesses.

After finishing Business School, 20
pupils with outstanding skills will take part in a competition and solve real
business cases.
