On May 23rd, the Education Development and
Employment Center (EDEC) held a round table meeting in Gori about supporting
services for people with disabilities. Here, respective needs, problems, and
challenges were discussed.

Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board of the
Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) talked about the ongoing project
and introduced the discussion topics. The mayor of Gori Municipality,
Konstantine Tavzarashvili greeted all participants.

Moreover, Giga Sopromadze, Executive
Secretary of the Council working on People with Disabilities in Tbilisi City
Hall talked about the supportive services implemented by them.

The discussion was held within the framework of the EU-funded project “Equal Opportunities for People with
Disabilities.” It is implemented by Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB
Georgia) in cooperation with its partner organizations, the Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Accessible Environment for
Everyone.
