A Professional Orientation training was held online for the potential beneficiaries of the dual education program in Samegrelo

On the 23rd and 24th of April, Professional Orientation
training was held for the potential participants of the dual education program
in the Samegrelo region. To adapt the content to the new online setup on Zoom, the
original one-day module was split up into two days.

The aim of the training was the introduction of various communication
techniques and working on effective self-presentation; this included the assessment
of their own skills, as well as learning about CV forms, business interview
techniques, business etiquette norms, and their application.

The dual education program is part of the EU-funded project
“EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in
Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The initiative aims to
widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally
displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant
participation in the community. In Georgia, it is implemented by the Danish
Refugee Council (DRC) and the Education Development and Employment Center
(EDEC).
