Twelve participants of the project “Master
of My House, Master of My Future!” visited the city of Bochum in Germany during
a one-week study tour (July 22-26). Its aim was to create a training program for
janitors based on German experience which will be implemented in Georgian
vocational collages.
The Georgian guests were instructed by trainers
of the European Education Center for Housing and Real Estate (EBZ). They learnt
about the duties and responsibilities of a caretaker, building safety, water
supplies, drinking water regulations, modern teaching methods, made a tour on
the EBZ campus, and received technical instructions.
Representatives of the Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the vocational college
“Construct 2”, the construction company “m2”, the Adjara
Employment Agency, the Department of Health and Social Care of IDPs of the Poti
Municipality City Hall, and the Charity Humanitarian Center
“Abkhazia” participated in the trip.
The project “Master of My House, Master of
My Future!” is implemented by the Charity Humanitarian Center “Abkhazeti”
