On the 6th of September, the Ministry of
Health, Labour and Social Affairs of Georgia, Social Service Agency and
Department of Employment Programmes organized an Employment Forum in
partnership with the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the
Kutaisi City Hall.
About 30 companies from the region such as
banks, insurance agencies, tourism centers, pharmacies, medical institutions,
restaurants, confectioneries, and construction firms presented more than 500 job
opportunities to the interested public. Job seekers were not only able to learn
more about the businesses and their vacancies, but also hand over their
application documents and register their interest in the offered positions.
The guests of the forum were greeted by
Nino Tvaltvadze, Deputy Mayor of Kutaisi City hall, Levan Gogodze, Deputy
Director of Social Service Agency, Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board of
EDEC, and Mariam Bezarashvili, Head of the Department of Employment Programmes.
