Due to COVID-19: Theoretical part of pharmaceutical assistant training program in Zugdidi moved online

Based on the current circumstances caused by
the novel Coronavirus, the theoretical part of the training program for pharmaceutical
assistants in Zugdidi has been moved online and will take place in cooperation
with the vocational college “Zugdidi Academy.” The practical part as well as
the paid internship will start as soon as possible after stabilization of the
situation.

The program will give young people relevant
professional skills and knowledge to increase their employability and career options.

The pharmaceutical assistants’ program is
implemented as part of the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth
Education, Employment, and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia
and Ukraine.” The initiative aims to widen education, employment, and
entrepreneurial opportunities for internally displaced persons and
conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant participation in the
community. In Georgia, it is implemented by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and
the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
