The make-up artist’s course is available for people aged 18
to 36 years living in the Shida Kartli region. Due to the current pandemic, the
theoretical part of the course will be held online; practical training and a
paid three-month internship will start after the stabilization of the current situation.
The program will provide young people with appropriate
professional skills and knowledge to increase their career development and
employment opportunities.
The dual education program is part of the EU-funded project “EU4Youth –
Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected
Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The initiative aims to widen education,
employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally displaced persons
and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant participation in
the community. In Georgia, it is implemented by the Danish Refugee Council
(DRC) and the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
