Sophio Chitanava – graduate of the Entrepreneurship School

Sophio Chitanava, a graduate of the Entrepreneurship School, is
chasing her dreams step by step

Sophio Chitanava has a green thumb through and through and develops
her flower farm with diligence and patience. She wants to achieve her goals
step by step and avoid precipitating the progress of her business.

Asked about the program, she says: “One of the most
important support I received from the project as a young entrepreneur was personal
mentoring. I got the best practical advice for developing my flower farm; I
was taught how to ensure diversity, how to cultivate in various ways, and how to
fight diseases.”

The mentoring program for young entrepreneurs is part of the
EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and
Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The
initiative aims to widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial
opportunities for internally displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and
encourages their significant participation in the community. In Georgia, it is
implemented by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the Education Development
and Employment Center (EDEC).
