An online meeting with Madona Basiladze, the Public Defender’s representative in west Georgia was organized for the members of the civil club of the partner school within the program “Future Generation”, initiated by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC). The topic of the meeting was early marriage.
The speaker discussed the reasons for early marriage, existing challenges and the ways to solve them. The students received the answers to the questions which were interesting to them.
The program “Future Generation” aims to improve the curriculum of civic education in schools. The program also encourages students to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they get from the lessons. The program is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia and is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program is implemented by PH International in partnership with Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) in Imereti Region.
