On December 21, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) held an online meeting with the involvement of Polish and Georgian teachers on the topic ‘Challenges of Distance Education and Responding to them in the COVID-19 Environment’.
The meeting aimed to share experiences between Georgian and Polish teachers on the challenges of distance learning and appropriate measures of the education sector in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Georgian and Polish teachers made presentations and shared their experiences with the audience. Discussions took place about distance education challenges in terms of working with students including the students with special educational needs (SEN). Response actions, strategies, methods and resources for working with the students will be highlighted.
The online meeting is organized within the EU funded project ‘Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disability’. The project is implemented by Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Georgia together with partner organizations: Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Movement Accessible Environment for Everyone (MAEE).
