A 5-day training of trainers for representatives of pilot vocational schools was completed, the purpose of which was to familiarize entrepreneurship teachers with the social entrepreneurship module, and teaching-learning methods and prepare them for conducting a 4-month social entrepreneurship training course with students.
The participants of the training had the opportunity to learn more about the essence of social entrepreneurship, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), social entrepreneurship and related stereotypes, learn about the features of social enterprise management and organizational culture, study legal issues related to entrepreneurship and share the international experience of social entrepreneurship.
Representatives of pilot vocational schools selected within the framework of the project participated in the training: “Iberia” College, “Construct2” Construction College, Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center, and “Gantiadi” College.
Participants were given certificates for successful completion of the training.
The training was organized within the framework of the project “Introduction of Social Entrepreneurship as a Key to Competitive Youth and Strengthened Vocational Schools in Georgia” which is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center, in partnership with Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany) with the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
