On June 20, 2023, in the Social Inclusion Center located in Dimi, Baghdati municipality, a business was held within the framework of the project: “Social Inclusion Center in Baghdati Municipality – New Perspectives for People with Disabilities in the Villages of Georgia”, the purpose of which was to familiarize the attended guests with the results of the project, and plans for the future.
Representatives of the local self-government, specialists of the Baghdadi Social Inclusion Center, and representatives of the international organization “Brot für die Welt” were invited to the meeting to have a better image of the work and results achieved within the framework of the project.
The meeting was held within the framework of the project: “Social Inclusion Center in Baghdati Municipality – New Perspectives for People with Disabilities in the Villages of Georgia”, which is funded by the international organization “Brot für die Welt” and is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
From September 2023, the Social Inclusion Center will unite 30 disabled children aged 6 to 18 living in Baghdati Municipality.
The services of the center provide for the provision of need-based programs for children with disabilities, participation in cultural and sports-rehabilitation events, development of household and professional skills of beneficiaries, promotion of disabled children in inclusive education, organization of bringing beneficiaries to the center and returning home, and providing two meals a day.
