A three-day training about the employment services for people with disabilities was held for the staff members of the Social Service Agency. 

The participants of the training were introduced to the model employment model created elaborated by the Education Development and Employment Center. The model aims to develop employment services in sync with the individual skills of persons with disabilities. This model will be implemented with the state upon completion of the project.

The training will significantly help the staff members of the Social Service Agency to carry out effectively employment support activities for people with disabilities.

The pieces of training are organized within the framework of the project “Education, Employ, Advocate and Legislate for Equal Opportunities for People with Disabilities” (EEAL), implemented by the Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center (KEDEC), along with Telavi Education Development and Employment Center and the Georgian committee of international campaign to ban landmines “Ottawa -98,” with financial assistance from the European Union.
