The Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) held a workshop for the members of the Dusheti Youth Council on the topic “Culture of volunteering in Georgia: youth volunteering as social capital”, the aim of which was to raise the awareness of the members of the council about volunteering as a culture, European educational programs (in Georgia of the 19th and 20th) and about the importance of youth volunteering. The workshop was led by journalist Goderdzi Sharasia.

The workshop was held within the framework of the European Union (EU) and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) funded project “Civil Society STAR Initiative: Sustainable, Transparent and Accountable Civil society Organizations (CSOs) for the Development of Georgia” (2021-2025).
