From 2019 onwards, Speech Therapy Service will be available within the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) office  under the patronage of “Logomedi – Speech Development and Correction Center “. Eka Chavchavadze, head of Logomedi and leading specialists of the center conducts the therapy.

Along with therapy sessions EDEC invites all interested candidates to participate in an on-the-job training to become a speech therapist. 

Candidates will be selected on the basis of applications and interviews. Selected individuals undergo a 6-week practice-based course and will be employed as a speech therapist in Kutaisi. Speech therapy involves both pedagogical and medical approaches. 

Qualification requirements:

Higher education (preferably in medicine, psychology, pedagogy);

Sense of Responsibility, good communication skills, punctuality, collegiality;
