Elmira Alpenadze and Sopo Kirtadze, the participants of the training course for peer educators from the Samegrelo region, held information meetings with the students of the public school of Zeda Etseri and with the students from IDP school in the village of Zeda Etseri, Zugdidi Municipality. The meeting was dedicated to the following topics: Prevention of Covid-19 (at schools); domestic violence; and diversity, tolerance, and peacebuilding.
The meetings were held within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia” implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.
The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
