Khatia Khabashvili, the peer educator from Shida Kartli, held the meetings with the students of Kekhijvari public school, Kareli Municipality, about the topics of child and human rights and peacebuilding, diversity, and tolerance within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia”.

The information meetings, which were attended by the 9th and 10th-grade students, included Q&A sessions. Participants were actively involved in the training. They expressed interest in the issues about violence. A short film screening and discussion on cyberbullying were held.

Тhe project is implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.

The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
